Ph.D. PharmD Senior Consultant / Non-Clinical Expert
Dr. Noach joined Kinesis-Pharma in 1999 and has since that date held different positions within the organisation. He started in 1999 as Consultant for Pharmaco- & Toxicokinetics and became the Director of Non-Clinical Development in Spring 2000. Since January 2009 he is the Non-Clinical Expert within Kinesis-Pharma, focussing on the scientific and managerial aspects of non-clinical (parts of) development programs.
Dr. Noach has a broad experience in Non-Clinical Development trajectories as he has been (and still is) a member of several drug development teams within Kinesis-Pharma and also at the sponsor’s site. These teams deal with small molecules as well as biologicals. His activities encompass the design of formal non-clinical development programs (according to applicable international guidelines) as well as the coordination of non-clinical studies that are being performed as part of the development of compounds, thereby organizing and acting as study monitor for a wide range of (multi-site) toxicity, ADME and PK/TK studies at contract research facilities. He contributes to non-clinical sections of and/or coordinates the overall production of a large number of CTDs, INDs, IBs and BLAs and writes non-clinical Expert Reports for (generic) compounds, based on study reports and/or literature. Furthermore, Dr. Noach acts as Principal Investigator and has the final responsibility for (GLP-) non-clinical pharmaco/toxicocokinetic calculations that are performed at Kinesis-Pharma.
Previously (1994-1998) Dr. Noach held a position as Research Scientist in the Dept. of Pharmacology at NV Organon (now Schering-Plough), heading a project on correlations between chemical structure, in vitro uptake and in vivo pharmacokinetics of new drug molecules. He received his Ph.D. from Leiden University in 1994 on the topic “Enhancement of paracellular drug transport across epithelia, in vitro and in vivo studies”. He obtained his M.Sc. in Pharmacy from Leiden University with majors in toxicology (Leiden) and pharmacokinetics/toxicology (Univ. of California San Francisco, USA). He is a licensed pharmacist (Pharm.D., Utrecht University).
